Job Opening: Maintenance Technician

We are looking for skilled maintenance technician for the Brownsville area! As a maintenance technician, you will install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. The maintenance technicians responsibilities include performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance, and fulfilling other duties assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.
• Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals
• Diagnosing machine problems using PLC ladder logic
• Read and interpret wire schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service.
• Read, multi-meter, gauges, calipers, and use of tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending, twisting, and physical dexterity.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in machining, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC is preferred.
• High School Diploma and associate degree is preferred or its equivalent in experience.
• Shift flexibility to work 8-to-12-hour days, holidays, and possibly weekends.
• Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.
