Manufacturing company is looking for Cable Assemblers for their 1st shift to work in the City of Chatsworth.
- Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Pay: $19.00 per hour – DOE

Summary

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling from sub-assembly to the finished unit in accordance with drawings, travelers, and manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs Electro-Mechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope.
- Assembles ultra-miniature assemblies or is fully proficient in a specific product line.
- Operates standard shop equipment including solder iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner and ovens.
- Reworks improperly functioning units.
- Communicates with calibration department to assure accurate assembly and proper functioning of units.
- Performs continuous cross training to increase skills and knowledge.
- Solders miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
- Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must have experience working with a microscope to solder small components for 8 hours a day maximum
- 2 years of experience
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to understand assembly drawings, schematics and work instructions
- IPC-610 or J-STD Certified
- Must be able to operate standard manufacturing equipment:
- Soldering irons
- Spot welders
- Tweezers
- Microscopes
- Ovens
