A hydraulic cylinder technician installs, maintains, and repairs hydraulic cylinders and related equipment. They work in industrial environments and may also repair and test hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair hydraulic cylinders and equipment

Test, repair, and rebuild hydraulic components

Install hydraulic components

Perform inspections and preventive maintenance

Design, develop, and test equipment

Manufacture and assemble hydraulic parts

Adjust, commission, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems

Test and repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
