Job Opening: Manufacturing Engineer

ResourceMFG is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for the Shelbyville, TN area for an injection molding company.

Pay: $70K-90K.  depending on experience

• Provides support to manufacturing and engineering groups.
• Coordinate the transfer on exit programs.
• Provide support to quality functions relating to manufacturing.
• Recommend, develop and implement corrective actions.
• Design input for automation equipment.
• Ability to write technical documentation.
• Ability to train maintenance and preparation personnel on new and modified manufacturing equipment..
• Plan and manage programs associated with product and tool launch and product and tool engineering changes from program award through part submission/PPAP and launch +90 days after SOP.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them to the plant.
• Advise management of project status and problems (both real and potential) on a regular basis.
• Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions.
• Maintain all systems necessary for program launch (i.e. BOM, White Sheet, Purchase Orders, Campfire PLM, TMM, ISO).
• Fulfill plants’ and customers’ needs with whatever you are providing to them (Designs, Tools, Parts, information, etc.).
• Participating in customer APQP.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Additional Requirements:

• Good Attendance is a MUST
• Must be able to work OT
• AutoCad or Unigraphics experience
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering or technical degree from four-year college or university or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Training in Core Automotive Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA).
