Job Opening: Furniture Install Assistant

Now Hiring Relocation Install & Dismantle Associate in San Antonio, Texas!

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday

Long Term – Temporary 

Job Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads furniture products to the project site by installing, disassembling, and moving products accordingly.
• Monitors and completes work assignments daily.
• Assists with employee moves to include computers, ergonomic equipment, telephones, furniture, and work contents.
• Understands the importance of deadlines and handles heavy workloads as required.
• Works with contracted external moving and installation crews on the property to ensure furniture movement and installations are complete for small and large projects within the allotted time.
• Provide job status updates daily and weekly to the Manager.
• Works efficiently and promptly without sacrificing quality.
• Works with other departments and groups within Valero, as needed, to ensure that large company events are set up or tasks completed.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience in the following areas is preferred:  furniture moving services, furniture assembly, furniture installation, furniture-related customer service, working with major manufacturer’s furniture products.
• Experience in installing and uninstalling standard computer configurations.
• Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to lift 50Lbs.
• Ability to climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl at differing elevations.
