Job Opening: Shipping Receiving Clerks – 1st 2nd 3rd shifts – NE Evansville

Large distribution center in northeast Evansville is looking for Full Time Temp to Hire staff to fill key positions in their process – Specifically Shipping/Receiving Clerks. First, Second, and Third shift positions are available – with Third running four 10 hour shifts Fri-Mon. This is a highly physical role, and warehouse experience is a plus. Associates will be required to lift up to 50 pounds alone, and up to 75 pounds as a team. 1st shift: M-F 6:45am-3:15pm $14.50/hr.

2nd shift: M-F 3:30pm-12:00am $15.50/hr.

3rd shift: F-M 7:30pm-6:00am $16.00/hr.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Shipping:

• Loads merchandise from a conveyor onto semi-trailer for shipment.
• Sorts and stacks cases onto pallets or conveyor by reading case labels.

Receiving: (very physical job)

• Unloads merchandise from semi-trailers to a conveyor.
• Inspects cartons of merchandise for damages.
• Audits product content prior to unloading merchandise.

Shipping ReRequirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 30 pounds continuously.
• Ability to work overtime including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
