General Responsibilities (All Technicians):

  • Prepare surfaces by taping, floating, sanding, caulking, and sealing as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and materials.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE use and material handling.
  • Work efficiently within a stall-based modular production process to meet deadlines.

Interior Painting Responsibilities:

  • Apply primer, paint, or texture to interior walls and ceilings using rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.
  • Ensure smooth and even application of paint, stain, or specialty coatings.
  • Touch up imperfections and correct inconsistencies in surface finishes.
  • Work with drywall and trim teams to ensure seamless transitions between materials.
  • Handle final detailing and cleanup to ensure a professional interior finish.

Exterior Painting Responsibilities:

  • Apply weather-resistant coatings, primers, and sealants to exterior surfaces.
  • Use spray equipment and rollers for siding, trim, and structural components.
  • Ensure surfaces are properly prepped and sealed to withstand environmental conditions.
  • Identify and correct imperfections before final application.
  • Work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in residential, commercial, or modular home painting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Control Specialist plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process and reports to the Director of Procurement & Logistics. The incumbent will assist with the construction of all equipment builds, distribute workload according to current priorities, coordinate assembly details on equipment with the manufacturing group, and work on manufacturing specified machine builds within the production area.

Position Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Perform manufacturing activities with engineering and operations.
  • Work with the engineering team to plan the construction efforts based on the associated job numbers.
  • Submits change requests to engineering as discovered during production planning or manufacturing.
  • Provides feedback to engineering to improve release packages.
  • Distributes work orders to departments, denoting quantity, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
  • Constructs inventory and manufacturing data in Oracle Fusion ERP/MRP (Item Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing) based on engineering drawings.
  • Assists in archiving project correspondence and documentation.
  • Maintains a comprehensive history of all production and purchasing activities undertaken for construction projects. 
  • Identifies and documents suggestions for process improvements and enhancements to increase effectiveness and productivity.

The Presort Mailing Technician operates the machine that inserts printed materials, such as letters or booklets, into folders or envelopes for USPS MAIL. Responsibilities include stacking quantities of inserts into machine pockets, adjusting feeder mechanisms, starting the machine, and replenishing pockets with inserts and booklets. The technician also performs periodic maintenance on the machines and assists mechanics in identifying machine problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and verify own machine setups prior to manufacturing.
  • Maintain integrity and organization of USPS presort mailings of First Class Letters/Flats, Marketing Mail Letters/Flats for Permit Imprint, and Metered mail.
  • Control machines and processes.
  • Monitor processes, materials, or surroundings.
  • Maintain workflow and ensure availability of materials, tools, and necessary equipment for assembly.
  • Inspect equipment, structures, or materials.
  • Monitor safety practices.
  • Interact with other departments in production to resolve problems that interfere with the group’s productivity.
  • Train new and less experienced operators.
  • Complete required daily maintenance paperwork.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and keep a clean work area.
  • Report machine and equipment malfunctions to supervisor or mechanics.
  • Report replacement parts and assist in periodic equipment checks to ensure machine maintenance.
  • Maintain quality and productivity.
  • Adhere to the company’s Quality Policy Statement and participate in the Quality Management System.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Perform other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned by management.

What does a Repair Technician do?

Performs testing and diagnostics on a variety of servers and components. Prepares documentation of the results of completed tests and documents failures. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are a warehouse with a cement floor. Temperatures are warm in the summer and cool in the winter. Requires walking or standing for long periods of time. Will require ability to climb ladders while retrieving inventory. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. May require lifting of up to 50 pounds.

REPORTS TO: DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Manufacture and repair special products – build prototypes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently operate all standard machine tools

• Make mathematical calculations required for setting up and machining any part

• Read drawings, use precision measuring instruments and hand tools

• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications

• Assemble and disassemble precision parts and equipment

• Welding ( tig, mig, stick and gas )

• Metal fabrication • Reverse engineering

• Design and build tooling and fixtures

• Manage waste responsibly (utilize proper containers, participate in the recycling programs)

• Promote energy conservation

• Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong mechanical skills

• Strong shop math skills

• Basic understanding of hydraulics, electricity, pneumatics, and a familiarization with computer technology.

• Thorough knowledge of metallurgy and heat treating

• Work with minimum supervision Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Four years journeyman level experience.
