Primary Responsibilities:

The production assembler is responsible for assembling from sub-assembly to the finished unit according to drawings, carts, and manufacturing procedures. Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to: • It performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope. • Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line. • It operates standard shop equipment including soldering iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces. • Reworks malfunctioning units. • Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units. • Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge. • Weld miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift. • Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal oversight. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC lathes and milling machine centers.

• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications,
