• A transportation clerk is primarily in charge of clerical duties, includes handling of accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies billing.
• Maintain database and miscellaneous reporting. Audit of logs and other DOT reporting.
• Customer service interaction in a professional demeanor as well as resolution of truck driver equipment request and pallet tracking.
• Maintenance and distribution of route books, daily interface with drivers, assist with driver coverage of vacation and overflow freight.
• Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking.

Job Description:

This position provides technical support, and service for the equipment and process within the manufacturing operation. Performs general maintenance repairs, cleaning, sanitizing and set up of manufacturing, filling and packaging equipment within established standards. The role will also require the individual to support the continuous improvement of the overall operation as well as root cause analysis and problem solving to ensure efficient manufacture and packaging of batches

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

? Responsible for efficient operation, corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment

? Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start up.

? Conducts quality inspections to verify all parts meet specifications and quality standards.

? Must meet and/or exceed established production, set-up and quality standards as defined.

? Communicate with Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components and machine performance in a timely manner.

? Complete downtime log accurately.

? Assure that all labeling documentation; e.g. samples, waste is properly identified.

? Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOP’s.

Job Requirements:

• Min of 6 months Manufacturing Experience
• Use of hands 100% of the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop throughout the shift.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train / cross-train, coach, and provide recognition for warehouse employees to achieve continuous improvement.
• Instruct employees through video and classroom presentation the safe operation of powered industrial equipment (reach trucks, forklifts, turret trucks, etc.)
• Test employees’ proficiency via written and practical tests.
• Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with the trainees and be able to adapt to a differentiated learning style, if needed.
• Research and analyze problems, determine and implement corrections.
• Complete daily reports as needed and do so in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support leadership as warehouse lead backup should coverage be needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the facility through the 5s methodology.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift for training purposes is a must.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age by the start of the position
• 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse environment is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Working knowledge of BlueYonder or Red Prairie WMS is desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift; standup forklift experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands.
• Strong attention to detail and results oriented.
